It was a looooong day, we started at 10 am and went to Ever Memorial to visit her Engkong. It was so funny because on our way to the cemetery I was just telling Keith that we might find my dad there, because I knew that they were building a mausoleum there a few years ago–and guess who came by, it was dad, and they were just a few “houses” away from us, hahaha. Talk about coincidences. They never seem to end hehehe. =D

After that around 1 pm Keith, Auntie Geeva, Marvin, Shobe and I drove to Manila Memorial to visit their Apo Ima. When we arrived, everyone was already there: Trishia, Alyanna, Mike, Koji and the other bullilits, and the adults. Hehe. They had so much food!! I think I ate around 7 meals the entire day XD So much for trying to shed the pounds…

Around 6pm we then decided to leave, and everyone (Keith’s cousins) agreed that we would go out after and watch Jennifer’s Body. Seth was supposed to come with us but since she was underaged she went to Hi-life spa instead(win win situation for her). But then Tina was also going to come along, but since she was already dressed and a bit older we decided to bring her along. That’s how we got into a little quarrel with the ticket lady. She kept insisting that we show her proof that Tina was already 13. She said tina was lying because she was looking at Trishia for answers(lie). We told her that it was a stupid argument because even someone aged 17 wouldn’t have any ID to show as proof that that person is really 17. But after much quarelling we were still able to get in. The movie was great, it was unique, not the typical horror movie hehe. I recommend it.

And my love was great> Didn’t i mention she looked lovely in her all gray outfit? hehehe
Anyways I’m running out of battery on my laptop which means i have to end this.

I actually don’t what to blog about. I don’t recall things chronologically at this moment. But let me try my best.

I recently started working last week at Philippine Orthopedic Center. Been wanting to work there since internship. I finally landed on one of my goals… Well, yeah… Not the dream job, but this is good for starters. I’m not complaining. I just finished fixing my papers today. At least I think I’m finished. And I finally got my diploma photocopied even though it was already set in frame. Haha. Feels like an achievement. Being able to photocopy it, I mean. LOL.

Well, last Sunday Charles met up with us at Megamall. We found this really cool store, Mental. The concept was really nice, although it did send me the creeps the first time I got in because the salespeople there wore all white, like there were working in a mental institute. The whole store looked clean, really, but it had that Silent Hill ambiance. Like, there was a terrifying reality parallel the clean mask. Evilly innocent ambiance. There were wheelchairs and mannequins hung upside down. Cool but eerie. The clothes were nice though They had different cuts. Oops, pardon the pun, I just realized I typed in “cuts”. I mean the styles were different.

I also got myself a pair of liquid leggings. Well, not the real liquid leggings, but very similar. It was a real splurge. P590 a pair. But I don’t really regret buying it, just made me realize what a shopaholic and fashionholic I am. I wanted to buy and wear before it hits the trend road. I just hate trends. If I were a trendsetter, I’d quickly change my look when other people start wearing the same thing. Hehe. Most of my friends–if not all–know that. Very well.

So… That just might be all. Hm… I don’t know what to blog about anymore. I just remembered I’m itching to get myself on our sofa and start watching Dexter again. Hehe. We have someone to kill. I can’t wait to get home and watch the next episode. I’m so glad we have the DVD. I can’t stand waiting for series. The remote is very, very handy. Hehehe.

The day was great, I was able to spend some time with my love. I heard from about all her fans from POC, ggrrrr >=p
It was her first day at work, and I’m very glad for her because she’s now closer to achieving her goals =)
It’s exactly 8 months since we first became a couple and I have to say that I’ve loved every moment of it, I actually told her maybe that was why time flies so fast, because we’re enjoying each time we’re together, and

I want to spend much more of the rest of my time together with her.

I, being the gullible thing, followed where his hand pointed. When I turned back at him he was hold a square shaped something wrapped in red and white plaid pattern. He said it was a prize because I passed the boards. And I guessed it right too. It was a copy of Griffin and Sabine! I just had to kiss him He made me really happy.

Charles and I then headed to Galleria with Koji, Alyanna, and Marvin. Marvin was the first one to go to the pc shop, while the rest of us went to Photoline to have my picture taken first. I needed it for my PRC license. We also decided to get a picture taken together just for fun. We chose a red background, but it was just photoshopped in. It looks rather awful when we got it afterwards, but I had an idea that we doodle on the background. We haven’t done it yet, but I started a small doodle on mine already. Heheh.

We went to Toys ‘R Us to buy a toy gun. Koji needed it for a project. They were making a movie about globalization. I’m curious. I want to see it when they’ve finished. Hehe. Then on our way to the cashier, Alyanna found the 20Q Ball. She had always wanted to own one when Bethany (our cousin living in Shanghai) showed hers. It was a good thing Alyanna opened the package right away, since we found out it wasn’t working. The employee there changed the batteries, but he didn’t put the cover back on properly so we had to go back and asked someone else to screw it on right. It annoyed Charles and Koji. Haha.

Marvin was already playing when we got to the computer shop. We had planned to play Starcraft, but the plan failed because there wasn’t enough of us and there weren’t enough pc’s available. So the four of us decided to just go around the mall.

Our first agenda was to buy me slippers, because my heels were killing me. Charles gave me a little scolding Said I should always leave a pair of slippers in his car. Hehehehe. But we didn’t get there right away because I saw pretty leggings in Forever 21 Alyanna went to check it because I thought they were liquid leggings. Well, they weren’t, but still very very pretty and I wanted my own pair. Hehe. I tried on a party dress. Alyanna took a picture of me.

Haha! If only I had enough to money to buy it! But I didn’t have any… So I’ll just have to make do with a picture. Hehehehe…

So after checking out dresses, we went inside the department store to buy me a pair of slippers. I kept kidding Charles to buy it for me. Hehehehe. We decided to eat at Frostings. Koji suggested it and I was suddenly craving for a red velvet cupcake. But we could get to our destination right away. We were distracted by other shops. Haha. We went in one of my favorite shoe store, Aldo. I tried on some shoes and they were having a sale! If only I had cash…. Sigh.

I would upload the shoe on sale here, but sadly… I can’t find on the net. I wasn’t able to take a picture of it. Hmm. Oh well. Let’s just hope it’s still there by the time I get some money on my hands

I don’t quite remember where else we went, but we finally got to Frostings. There was a kiosk nearby and I found cute uniquely shaped erasers–food erasers–the one my younger sister loves collecting…  I grew fond of them too so I’ve always kept in mind to buy some for Seth if I get the chance to come across one. And I finally did.

Charles and I picked our surprise for Seth and planned to buy the other designs for next time. So happy

My dad called and set me on an errand to buy a clip for his keys. And we came across Saizen where everything sells for P85. Haha… Found more erasers there and arm warmers.

My sister likes to copy Selena Gomez’s fashion from Wizards of Waverly Place, so I decided to buy those for Seth too next time. Haha. I think my mom would want to shop there too. She just loves household items.

So that’s just about it. We went home after that because Charles’s needed to be someplace. He dropped us off in my house and stayed for a bit before going home to fetch his mom. (Alyanna finished Griffin and Sabine in a few hours.)

Yesterday I got to see the new location of our church. It was really a nice place. We were situated at the 29th floor of Union building. The view was pretty cool. Not really anywhere near amazing, but the height just sort of makes it exhilirating for me.

Charles lent me his car since I had no other way to get there. *so sweet*

Anyway, after the service, Kuya Jojo, Marvin, JC, and Ken rode with me and I dropped them off at SM before I went to fetch Charles.

We headed for a hospital in the Manila area first to visit our friend’s dad. I’m just glad it’s just pneumonia. I hope he gets well soon enough.

The chinese say that today is a lucky day, but what happened today wasn’t because of luck, it’s because of her perseverance to continue and study even though odds looked like they were stacked against her. There were a lot of times that she felt like giving up and I had to keep reminding her to push on and not to give up, it’s a good thing she didn’t, and now she’s reaping fruits of all her hard work =) If there’s one thing to learn from this day, it’s to

“never give up” =)

Went to Glorietta yesterday. My sister was supposed to come with me but she decided against it because she thought she might get bored. And it’s a good thing she stayed home, because she was right.

I was with Charles and his mom and grandma. Charles had this petty but funny argument with his mom about which kind of shoe to buy. But he finally got his way and got something far more cheaper than the first one we saw in Rustan’s. Oh, and I found tiny Chucks! It would look so cute on baby feet! ^o^

Later before eating dinner we met up at a little store which sold kitchenware and dinnerware. Hmmm… It made me want to have my own house and fill up my kitchen with all sorts of things.

We had dinner at Heaven and Eggs. They changed the theme into rock. It wasn’t what I expected, Heaven and Eggs served pancakes. It was pretty weird. It wasn’t ugly but it was completely odd for me. They even had an MJ menu as a tribute. Weird but thoughtful. Or just plain trend-ish. Hehe. Just a little side comment.

Anyway, my angus burger was really, really good anyway. So I don’t really have much to complain about. Besides… I was with my Charbby

We went to Glorietta 4 and tried to look for something to spend the 5000 peso gift certificate on, Mom wanted me to buy a pair of shoes that was worth 6 thousand pesos, which i kinda liked,  but didn’t really like that much to spend 6000 on. I’d rather spend the money on 2-3 pairs of chucks or some other shoe.

After much arguement I was able to convince Mom to keep the gift cheque to buy groceries for christmas instead, and let me go look for a cheaper pair of shoes if she really insists on me buying a new pair(she said she didn’t want people to say that i wasn’t being taken care of haha).

So I went with Keith and decided to walk around the mall looking for a converse store, but after asking some guards and being told that there wasn’t a converse store around, we decided to go to the Shoe Salon instead to look for a pair. We saw many kinds of chucks, there was one pair that Keith liked the gray high ankle chucks for women, I think it’d look good on her, so did the other pairs she tried =)

After a lot of searching I was able to find a pair of white Gola shoes on the bottom shelf which I liked. It wasn’t too eye catching but I liked it, because it looked simple, clean, and sleek. And Keith liked it too  =D

While we were on our way to meet up with Mom and Grandma, we stopped by a powerbooks store and look at some books, there Keith found a little something, i don’t know what it’s called… and bought it for shobe, we wanted to give shobe a little something because she wasn’t able to come along. On our way out Keith saw a book titled S________. She wanted it, maybe we’ll buy it next time =D

We then ate at Heaven and Eggs, I ordered peppery sirloin steak while Keith had a Beefy Angus Burger, the steak i ordered could have been a bit more tasty, but the burger… it was so gooooood. It was so tasty, and with cheese and bacon. I want one!! maybe next time I’ll try it

On our way back to the car Mom decided to stop by the grocery and buy some food. (back at the grocery with my wife hahaha!!) Anyways while we were there i decided to have a little fun and try to see how my mom would react when I took a few pints of Haagen daaz and told her that i wanted to buy those instead of the regular selecta ice cream we bought.  Her reaction was so funny, she was shocked but didn’t have the heart to tell me that she didn’t want to buy haagen daaz hahaha! in the end i told her that i was just kidding and bought the Selecta Quezo real, it’s what i really wanted anyways ^^

I had sooo much fun that I was able to spend the day with the most important people in my life.

And I’m glad Keith enjoyed as well, she was able to try so many pairs of shoes(her vice haha), look for bikinis hehe and find some unique stuff like the cute lip balms hehe. Hopefully in the future I’ll be rich and I can buy the shoes for her

But I’m going ahead of myself. I still haven’t blogged about District 9. I watched it with Charles at Trinoma with the rest of his friends. I loved the film. I pitied the aliens though. But it’s such a unique story and it’s very easily one of my favorite movies of all time.

After the movie, we ate dinner at Tempura before going our separate ways.

So what else?

Now about my board exam… Three days before the exam, I met up with JC so we could study together. It was really frustrating to know that I still had to study so much. We tried answering test papers but we both realized we knew almost nothing. We answered about two-thirds of the tests wrong. The pressure finally caught up with me two days before the exams. I broke down. And I really cried. Friday night was the worst. Charles couldn’t even leave the house because of me. I felt a little guilty about that. But I didn’t want him to leave at all.

Anyways, I looked pretty tired the next morning because my eyes were a bit swollen from crying the night before. All the exams were hard, but CM was fairly easy compared to Micro. Argh!!! Death to Micro!!! >______________<;;;

I was in such a panic that day that I actually forgot that it was our monthsary! If Charles hadn’t greeted me, I would’ve totally gotten over the day without remembering. I realized I had to start relaxing. And that’s exactly what I did. (We’ve been together seven months ^^)

Today… Hema was the hardest. ISBB and HTMTLE were both well, sort of easy. I think I just knew how to answer most of it. Just made me feel a little better  about my intelligence. XD

My Charbby brought me and picked me up at UE today He brought me a chicken sandwich because he knew I wasn’t able to eat lunch. Thoughtful, thoughtful ^x^

We stayed for a while at my place and hung out. Then went to Thewi to get a head and foot massage. Nabitin ako… Huhuhuhu… Apparently 30 minutes of each doesn’t feel enough. Next time we’ll go for the hour-long massage!

We had out light dinner at McDonald’s. Hehe. It’s the first time I treated Charles. And I’m glad he’s pretty happy

Charles picked me up around 5:30 and I offered to drive. At first, I wasn’t really looking for a present. I was looking at books in the bookstore. I wanted to buy a handful for myself, well, if I had money. The best I could do was drool and–whine inwardly. I want my own copy of Choke by Chuck Palahuik and Griffin and Sabine by Nick Bantock. Well, finally I gave up my inward bickering and whimpering and decided on what to give Keisha.

Charles kept asking if I wanted it. Of course I wanted it. But of course I didn’t want him to buy it for me. At first I was joking around that he buy for me, but when he started to sound serious I put the book back and realized I really can’t ask him to buy me the book. To think I owe him so much… Not that I do it on purpose… Debt just finds its way to me when it comes to him lol

Anyway, when we got our present for Keisha, we went straight to his house to have dinner there. After dinner we headed for my house and we took pictures with my cellphone. Yes, I’m posting them here because I find them really, really sweet and memorable. Too bad my phone camera is crappy. But anyways… I’ll just have to make do with what I have
